Wellcome II, 467; Waller Cat. 2452. - Ysbrand van Diemerbroek (1609-1674) practised medicine in Utrecht and became Professor of Anatomy and Medicine at Leyden. Beside his comprehensive work on anatomy, he is also remembered for his studies of the plague. This collected works were edited by his son Tieman, also a physician.
