Contemporary full calf, spine decorated and titled in gilt, boards with gilt ruling, sprinkled edges, marbled pastedowns (spine ends chipped, boards spotted and stained, extremities rubbed, binding somewhat bowed). Text somewhat browned and spotted, light dampstaining to upper and lower gutter of some pages and folding plates slightly dampstained at top. Provenance: two illegible old ink stamps to titl-page.
