RARE FIRST EDITION of this catalogue of 7385 stars, chiefly in the Southern Hemisphere; also known as the "Brisbane Catalogue" after Sir Thomas Brisbane, the founder of the Parramatta Observatory. Richardson, of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, received the results of the work done at the Parramatta Observatory by Brisbane and his two assistants, Rumker and Dunlop, in 1830, and constructed this catalogue consisting almost entirely of tables. - Visit our website to see more images!
